This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services and payments made to Befit Construction & Innovation Pvt. Ltd. The terms of your signed quotation or agreement prevail if they differ from this page.
1. Booking / Advance Amount
- A booking or advance amount is collected to start design work, mobilise the team and order materials.
- If you cancel before any work or purchase has started, the advance is refunded after deducting administrative and documentation charges, if any.
- If design, survey, estimation or approval work has already been done, charges for that work are deducted from the refund.
2. Cancellation After Work Has Started
- You may cancel an ongoing project by giving written notice to info@befitcipl.co.in.
- The value of work completed at site, materials purchased or ordered for your project, and any labour or machinery already deployed will be calculated and settled.
- Any balance amount paid in excess of this value will be refunded. Any shortfall must be paid by the customer.
3. Design, Plan and Estimate Services
Fees for building plans, 2D/3D designs, elevations, estimates and consultancy are non-refundable once the drawings or reports have been shared, as these are custom work prepared for you.
4. Material Supply
- Orders for standard materials can be cancelled before dispatch.
- Materials that are custom-made, cut to size, or ordered specially for you cannot be returned or refunded.
- Damaged or wrong materials must be reported within 48 hours of delivery for replacement.
5. Approval and Documentation
Government fees, stamp duty and other statutory charges paid on your behalf are non-refundable.
6. Cancellation by Befit
If we are unable to start or continue the project for reasons on our side, we will refund the amount paid for work not yet carried out.
7. Refund Process
- Approved refunds are processed within 15 working days of final settlement.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method or by bank transfer to the customer’s account.
- Online payment gateway charges, if any, are non-refundable.
